Meet the Team
| Dr. John Eric Yezerski Dr. John Eric Yezerski is originally from Murray, Kentucky. Upon graduation from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Yezerski continued his education at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where he earned his DMD degree. Early in his dental school career, he was able to gain experience treating kids while traveling on a dental mission trip to Georgetown, Guyana in South America. During dental school, Dr. Yezerski found that, for him, treating kids was the best part of practicing dentistry. This led Dr. Yezerski to complete a two year pediatric dental residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital, Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. The two year program allowed Dr. Yezerski extensive experience in treating the oral health of children, adolescents, and patients with special needs. His residency program offered him a high level experience in prevention of dental disease, minor and complex procedures, operating room procedures, as well as, oral conscious sedation and nitrous oxide. He has also received certification in PALS(Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS(Basic Life Support), and CPR. After residency, Dr. Yezerski and his wife, Courtney, decided to settle in Franklin and to open his practice, Franklin Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Yezerski is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Assocation, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Nashville Dental Society. Dr. Yezerski also holds clinical privileges at Vanderbilt Children’s' Hospital. Dr. Yezerski and his wife, Courtney, are excited about their relocation to Franklin and look forward to growth and service in the community. They welcomed their first born son, Connor, to the world on December 23, 2008. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Yezerski enjoys a variety of interests. He is a music lover who enjoys playing both the piano and guitar. An avid sports fan, he looks forward to cheering on the Titans and Predators for many years to come. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Courtney, son, Connor, and pug, Napoleon. Erin Reed  Erin has lived in the Nashville area all of her life. She graduated from Hillwood High School in 2006. Erin is currently attending Nashville State Community College. She is certified in dental assisting, dental radiology, nitrous oxide monitoring, and CPR. Erin previously worked with a general dentist and is very excited about being in the pediatric environment and working with kids. Erin has a 3 year old dog named Bo that likes to play and give kisses to anyone he meets. Like Dr. Yezerski, Erin is a big sports fan. She also enjoys watching the Predators and the Titans play at home. Erin is looking forward to assisting Dr. Yezerski in helping your children maintain good oral hygiene, and is ready to answer any questions you may have. Emily Mays  Emily is from Daphne, AL. She graduated from Faulkner State Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and a certificate in Dental Assisting. Emily moved to the Nashville area with her husband, Zane, who is currently serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, and their dog Huck. They also enjoy watching Alabama football, Roll Tide! Emily is looking forward to serving you at Franklin Pediatric Dentistry and is ready to greet you with a smile. |
